We run two practical navigation courses in the Pentland Hills, close to Edinburgh, focused on helping you move confidently and independently in the hills with a map and compass. Whether you’re new to navigation or keen to refine your skills, each day offers hands-on learning in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Will is a fully certified NNAS (National Navigation Award Scheme) Course Director and will keep things practical, relaxed and fun. You can expect some games and challenges through the day that build your navigation skills.

“This was such a fantastic introduction. I had no compass or map reading experience when I went on the 1-day course and left with so much hands-on knowledge. Highly recommend 💫”
